Above Ground and Underground Tanks
There are certain state laws and regulations that must be followed, but for most people the decision to go with an above ground or underground propane tank is based on the space in your yard or commercial site and the desire to have the tank out of sight. There are some other factors to consider and we’ve listed a few of those here.
Power Supply: 3-Phase vs Single-Phase
Our standard skid unit comes with a 10 horsepower, 3-phase electric motor. However, many of our agricultural customers and other bulk LPG storage customers in rural areas have access to only single-phase power. So naturally, we often get asked how someone with single-phase supply can use one of our skids.
